Students Present Holiday Concerts, Shows and More in December

Dec. 3, 2021 - From theatre productions including Rock of Ages and High School Musical, jazz concerts and choir performances to art showcases, the talents of Comal ISD students will be on full display this month to celebrate the holidays.

A few highlights include Davenport High School’s production of Rock of Ages. Showtimes are 7 p.m. Friday through Sunday, Dec. 3-5, and additional shows at 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the high school’s performing arts center. Doors open 45 minutes before showtime, and general admission tickets are $15 the day of the show. Purchase tickets here.

Canyon High School presents High School Musical with showtimes 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, Dec. 9-11, at the school’s performing arts center. Cost is $10 presale at canyonhstheatre.weebly.com or $15 at the door.

Canyon Lake High School’s Jazz Concert is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9, at the school’s performing arts center; and the Hawks Bands Holiday Concerts are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 11, also CLHS performing arts center.

Pieper Ranch Middle and Pieper High School Orchestras will host Holiday Concerts at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 13, at the PHS performing arts center; and Smithson Valley High School Orchestra Holiday Concert is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 14, at the SVHS performing arts center.
