Dec. 4, 2025 - Fourteen Comal ISD athletes have been selected for the San Antonio Sports All-Star Football Game, presented by Valero which will showcase top local high school football players on Saturday, Jan. 10, at the Alamodome. It’s the 48th anniversary of the game, in which the area’s top senior players will take the field at 5:30 p.m. and will be televised by CW SA.
The 14 are among 119 athletes representing 68 high schools in the San Antonio area, and each Comal ISD high school is represented.
The San Antonio Sports All-Star Football Game will feature players who are committed to play for some of the top universities in the country as well as those looking for an additional chance to impress college scouts with potential scholarships to offer.
For the 2026 edition, Johnson High School’s head football coach TP Miller will coach Team Blue, and Alex Franco from Southwest High School will coach Team White. More than 236 players were nominated by 83 high school coaches, 108 were named to the All-District teams last year.
